Giving back to the community

At Youngclaus & Company, we believe it is important to give back to our community. We enjoy volunteering our time to help local organizations and set annual company goals to achieve it. Along the way, we have met great people, organizations and causes. Below is this year's outing photos of our team working together to help others.

Building Houses and Building Hope - 2018

This July our team went out to Habitat for Humanity in Rochester, NH. We were able to meet the deserving family that is receiving this beautiful home. Meeting the people that run Habitat and the volunteers that come every week to help was amazing. The dedication, commitment and care to help build these homes is truly great. Spending eight hours there didn’t seem like enough! Our day consisted of finishing the lattice work under the porch, spackling, siding, and checking the foundations of the floors. We didn’t let the rain stop us from pushing through and getting as much work done as we possibly could! If you have time to help out on a build site, we highly recommend it! You can find out more information here.

Youngclaus and Company continued with community service in local areas again this year. This June our team went out to Gather in Portsmouth, NH. We decided this year we would be giving back to one of their fantastic community programs Meals 4 Kids. This is open for all school age children eligible for free or reduced lunch. Food is delivered weekly as a way to ensure all children have healthy food throughout the summer. Our day included packing up the trucks full of food and supplies, as well as making bags to hand out to families and children. All of our staff participated with helping hands and the day was a great success.

Our team spent two days this summer at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH. Our activities included center housekeeping, native plant landscaping for invasive plant management, cleaning the beach and general maintenance on the property. All of our staff participated with helping hands and the two days were a great success.
